Crib 5 also known as Ignition Source 5 has been a British Standard for some years and it is essential that all furniture manufactured for commercial use carry this standard. Crib 5 ensures that upholstery, fabrics and materials are tested to UK Fire Regulations to identify the materials ignitability and fire retardancy. Again, many imports will not have passed standard and could be potentially disastrous in a Salon environment.
